This project of mine was a pixel art animation. Pixel art is something I've been getting very into and I really enjoy it, I also like animation and want to do more with it so I decided to push my limits on both and make this a big animation. The animation itself is 66 frames and I had to draw every single frame individually. This task ended up being quite tedious and taking a large amount of time but I think it really pushed me to the limit and tested how far I've come as a sprite work artist and as an animator.
For this project I decided to make something in Photoshop because I personally really like working in Photoshop. The idea I had in mind for this project was to make a cool banner that can be used for like YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, etc. pretty much just social media. I wanted to go with a pretty dark sorta edgy theme with it but I wanted to keep it rather simple in design. I kept the color scheme consistent taking the colors from all the objects in the picture, just black, red and dark red. The background was made using different layers and the filter gallery to make some black and dark gray lines throughout. The claw decal was originally just black and some watermark text inside the claw but I put a gradient over it and used some effects like bevel, inner shadow to give it some depth. The thing in the top left is a circle I messed with a bit and added an outer glow to. The text itself is nothing special I just put some spaces between each letter, made it big and then embossed it.
